About Us
 Filament Publishing Ltd was founded in 2000 by Chris Day and is based in Croydon, Surrey. Originally specialising in personal development, training and self help titles, Filament has grown its publishing portfolio and now attracts authors covering a wide variety of topics.
With the growing trend towards digital editions, audio products, podcasts, open learning programmes and streamed media, Filament with its own in-house studios and technical resources is well placed to exploit the opportunities that this presents.
In 2009 Filament opened two new divisions, Corporate Publishing and also Christian Books. Filament Corporate Publishing is an outsource provider of publishing services to companies, organisations, associations and professional bodies. It can also provide and manage private imprints to enable the organisation to be seen as a specialist publisher, but without the additional staff costs and overheads normally associated with that function.
Filament Christian Publishing is the division specialising in religious books, audio products, multimedia and DVD production.
Apart from working with authors in this marketplace, we also partner with churches, organisations and associations to help them to turn their material into books and other products which carry the imprint of their organisation.
To support our authors, Filament also designs and builds e-commerce enabled websites, and has the technical resources to create companion products such as audio books, e-books, and to produce DVDs.
Chris Day is writer and journalist. He has been a part of the Direct Sales industry for many years during which he was in charge of field communications for Encyclopaedia Britannica in the UK and Ireland. He maintains close connections to the Direct Selling Industry and writes a monthly column about alternative business opportunities in Making Money Magazine. In addition to his publishing interests, Chris also runs a television production and new media company.
