New book – Minster Tales by David Morgan, out 21st September 2016

The book is full of hidden tales of Croydon Minster that locals may not know, such as the Mustard MakerÔÇÖs Tale, heir to the family who owned the first mustard making factory in London whose business was later acquired by ColmanÔÇÖs, as well as the tale of the bookseller, the oldest shopkeeper in Croydon

As well as black & white photographs of the church, and an interior map, the book contains ÔÇÿDid you know?ÔÇÖ fact.

Author David Morgan was born in Lowestoft, Suffolk but spent his years of study and teaching in South London. Recently retired after a successful 12-year headship in Croydon, David is now able to spend more time writing, researching local history and singing in the Croydon Minster choir. He leads tours of the church and the Whitgift Almshouses.
